At Yashi Paper, our commitment to "Green Manufacturing" is integral to our mission. We actively support global carbon reduction goals by embedding sustainable practices into every step of our operations, from raw material sourcing to final product delivery.
Pioneering Carbon Footprint Verification
In a industry-first achievement, Yashi Paper received the SGS certification for carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions in April 2021. This rigorous, six-month assessment traced our entire chain—from bamboo cultivation to pulp production, transportation, and end-consumer use—validating our transparent and measurable approach to reducing our environmental impact.
Clean Energy Transition: Coal-to-gas program
Over the past five years, all of our own factories and major partner factories have upgraded from coal-fired boilers to natural gas boilers to conserve coal resources and reduce environmental pollution. By 2030, we plan to complete the upgrade of all upstream paper mills to natural gas boilers.

Energy saving and consumption reduction
Since 2019, the company has been purchasing hydropower directly from power generators and retailers through the Sichuan Electricity Trading Market, gradually reducing its use of thermal power. Future plans include solar photovoltaic power
generation (this project is currently in the research and demonstration phase).
Dual carbon goals
To actively respond to the nation's dual carbon goals, the company has consistently adhered to the philosophy of sustainable development and successfully obtained SGS carbon footprint and carbon emissions (greenhouse gas) certification in April 2021.
By 2024, a cumulative reduction of 1.15 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be achieved.

Sustainable Bamboo & Cleaner Production: Using bamboo instead of wood to reduce wood resource consumption
By 2024, a total of 160,000 mu of trees and forests will be reduced from being cut down.
